FAMILIAR DEVIL
Never you love me this way anymore Snatching what I
had kept for my ideal man Begone! tell me not of love anymore Your deeds dont befit that of a human
Never
to know you came to steal what I kept Yet, I gave you my love And you decided to make me void and wet Breaking
all the promises of my love
Oh! What a great loss So much pain too great to heal My reward for making you
my boss Is for you to serve me a painful meal
You"re no doubt the familiar devil That ate me up like a weevil
NIGHT
FOOD
Metamorphosize to palm greasers kids of the soil? Derivest pleasure in consuming night food? Reminiscent
of your deeds bringeth me no joy On the face of Mr. Death will you be done no good
The food may maketh thee rich
above the law But for every injustice lies a disadvantage The unjust sweet "kola" must retain, under the law For
every bad deed, sprouts the pest-advantage
Why is there no armour against night food? I and my second class citizens
need fur to be saved Why is there no weapon against night food? Clang! Crack! Bang! -we shall fight and be saved
Honesty!
Honesty! - the armour against the mystery Justice! Justice! The weapon against bribery.
LOST GLORY
Big
Brother lend me your ears. Frozen, I lie in my cradle every cold night. The Brothers world I dread drowning in. I
beckon at ferries to take me away, Deep down the world of big berries. Off we went, my gentle spirit in their soul"
Globe of the big brothers snatched my soul. Tears in my balls, I cried to my ferries" Consolation crept into my heart.
Something beyond my wildest dream attracted my balls, Captors were thrown into captive walls, Corruption and Co.
flounded out like blind bats, Hunters metamorphosed to the hunted, "Okporokolised" patients in rooms and palours,
Free gift of mother Earth was in everys flavour, All and sundry faces, smiles decorated, Dignified dignitaries
occupied a low seat, Victorship awarded to all victims of crime, Who dared to chew fearlessly, the sacred meat. Justice
should be their offspring, this, they agreed. Honesty, they shall court to the altar. Not in their nelly should they
shadow later. Though pepper to eat, but enough dough to bake. Peace and progress ruled and governed the day, Happiness
hovered the new paradise, Glowing in my fantasies, here come the ferries To sooth my spirit and in bed to stay. Swimming
endlessly and helplessly in my fears, Reminiscent of the big brother fate, Which was once a heaven on earth. But
now, a running dry land for deers.

CRY OF A MONKEY
Attention! All you greedy baboons Hands on your ears,
draw them wide open Listen to our plight Your pride and deceit has made you like bulls And like a crammy basket
Your drums uplift it River eggs lie beside our eyes A minute to midnight, ready to hatch Our tears must full
your creaky cups Never to miss target, not even a drop If para adventure, it kisses the earth Mama will strike
your pretty lives in her net
Treacherous baboons, selfish silky apes Our pure ceaseless tears you delight to see
So that crinks, vibrates on your bulging stomachs Your tummies grow bigger while we grow gaunt We are like the
dried Tilapia, Like bees chased by fire. Our tears in your cup, you forbade to drink.
Lo, our tears have soaked
the earth Earth has drank and become drunk Intoxicated, she rises to strike No where to go, no where to hide Fire,
she spreads widely on the mountain Dry land harbours the new born ocean The forest is crowded by her armed soldiers
There is no escape for the sinner Help cannot come from palm greasing No acceptance of any "Kola" Justice
has risen from earths cooler To bring respite to the monkey Monkey justice has arrived, Get ready O" ye baboons!
JET AGE
What a world! World of insatisfaction A world of fraud
World where none shows appreciation
The world which misquotes decrees And coined them to support crime World
that appreciates criminals A world that refuses to rhyme
How shall this world be rid of this skirmishes Who
shall release us from the offsprings of Jet Age We must fix and strap our buckles We must be ready to cleanse her

Fortitude is the remedy to the malady Loyalty and truthfulness is the small levy
