FISH ON DRY LAND

Many there disgruntled be

That deny others the right to be

Wish all attainments theirs only

Without effort but desire only

Like a cat would devour live fish

On dry land without live fish

Countless their cravings be

That count others their chicken be

Wish the collection be theirs alone

Without dropping but eat only eggs

Like man would bite raw meat

On knife that cut no raw meat.

Numerous the jealous hearts seem

To covet others life achievement be theirs

Without discipline grace and hard work

Like a dwarf that would wear big coat

On dry bones without big oath

Father great there be on high

That warns jealous hearts by nigh

Wish all leave the innocent alone

Without grudges but contentment alone

Like a man would learn ant art

On rainy day without plant part.

OSUNLELE ( Killer Shrine)

If you know you have children

If you know you have children

Make peace with your adversary

Make peace with your adversary

Do not make haste to go to Osunlele

Do not make haste to go to Osunlele

The people who went to Osunlelel

The people who went to Osunlele

Did not come back with head tie

Did not come back with head tie

They did not come back with cloth

They did not come back with cloth.

 JUBILATION

My enemy has fallen

My enemy has fallen

My enemy has fallen

Into the ocean

My enemy has fallen

Into the ocean

I told my mate to scrub my back

I told my mate to scrub my back

My mate used devil beans

To scrub my back

My mate used devil beans

To scrub my back

My hand cannot reach

The irritating devil beans

My hand cannot reach

The irritating devil beans

If it is medicine it will not work

If it is medicine it will not work.

Agaba has captured my enemy

Agaba has captured my enemy

Evil minded person

Evil minded person

It is your headache only

It is your headache only

Little food that has turned to water

Little food that has turned to water.

MONEY  (The tainted thing)

Money money makes a young man

Money money makes a young man

A young man without money

A young man without money

Has no say in the land

Has no say in the land

Tell your brother the truth

Tell your sister the truth

Money has just come

Your brother has been there

Money has just come

Your sister has been there

Yet the tainted thing

God calls money

My mother treat me well

My father treat me well

Money is not every thing

I would have been a sergeant

Money for man meant

Not man for money sent

THE HEN AND THE MEDICINE MAN

The medicine man threw his dice

The medicine man threw his dice

Your need avoid quick temper

You need avoid quick temper

Who is he to counsel me

Who is he to counsel me

Come let us fight

Come let us fight.

You are sentenced to the soup pot

You are sentenced to soup pot

Oh where is the medicine man

My friend?

Oh where is the medicine man

My friend?
